Wildwater Kayak Club are organising a WWR Race on the Avonmore this Sunday. There is a Canadian Canoe class for anyone interested.
The stretch of water itself is a nice Grade II run, nothing overly taxing but a few rocks to negotiate nonetheless. All the info you need can be found here:
